Lately I've been so busy with the writing I'm assigned that I haven't written much of anything else. And with the beautiful autumn colors everyone is taking the exact same pictures, so there's not much point in that. Instead I'm photographing people, those that I love, and I'm doing it for me, so I'm not submitting.
I'm theoretically getting even busier doing tech for the play in the coming weeks, but if I can find the time I have a few things I want to work on. "The Queen of Spades" for one, and another story which I haven't given a name to yet, but both are very vague right now. Mostly I'm hurting as of late, and when I hurt enough instead of being able to write it and help, I find that the creativity stops and the pen just won't move. Reality becomes too harsh too escape. I'm not sure if that happens to other writers, or if they simply chose that time to explore fantasy to avoid reality, but I know I can't do that.
Hopefully things will look better with a little time, and I can rejoin the world of beauty and the living. For now there are a few souls who keep me going, as well as a dream for the future.
